Our Facility Our 6,000 square foot hospital, built in 2006, is equipped with advanced diagnostic and monitoring equipment to provide state-of-the-art medical and surgical care for your pet. Like human hospitals, we also provide in-hospital supportive care such as oxygen treatment, cardiovascular monitoring, specialized pain management, transfusion medicine and 24-hour monitoring for patients that require overnight or extended hospitalization.
Our entire medical staff is specially trained to help pets in emergency and critical situations and is devoted to providing a caring environment that treats you and your pet with respect and kindness. We have six emergency veterinarians on staff, led by our Chief of Medicine, a board-certified emergency and critical care specialist. Our thirteen veterinary nurses come to us with many years of ICU and emergency experience, with several of them pursuing additional certification in critical care nursing.

What To Expect If You Visit We understand that medical emergencies can be a frightening experience for your family--our goal is to make this stressful time as easy for you as possible. When you arrive, your pet will be evaluated immediately by one of our nurses to determine the severity of your emergency (critical vs. stable). Like in human hospitals, critical emergencies are always attended to first, therefore, if your pet is in stable condition you may be asked to wait in our comfortable waiting area.
Once your pet has been seen by an emergency veterinarian, diagnostic and therapeutic options for your pet with the associated costs will be discussed with you, allowing you to make the best decisions for your family about your pet's care. We understand and respect your financial limitations, whatever they may be, and provide as many payment options as we possibly can to help you manage costs, including cash, money orders, checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also offer CareCredit as a financing option for those who qualify. To keep the cost of our services as low as possible, all services must be paid for at the time they are provided and we do not offer billing. |
