Emergency Veterinarians
Veronica Abadie, D.V.M. Dr. Abadie joined our hospital this year. She is a Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate who spent the last few years practicing as an Emergency Veterinarian at a large practice in Phoenix, Arizona, prior to joining our team.
Laura Cummings, D.V.M. Dr. Cummings has been practicing at our hospital for over 5 years. She is a Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine graduate who performed her internship at Norwalk Veterinary Referral and Emergency Hospital.
Tara Eaton, D.V.M. Dr. Eaton has been practicing at our hospital for over 5 years. She is a North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate who performed her internship at Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine.
Jennifer Godown, D.V.M. Dr. Godown has been with us for nearly 3 years. She is a North Carolina State University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate and completed her internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in New Jersey.
Lisa Math, D.V.M. Dr. Math joined our medical team this year. She is a Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine graduate and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in 2003. She has practiced as an emergency veterinarian for the past 8 years at a large emergency and specialty hospital in Rhode Island.
Erika R. Mueller, D.V.M., DACVECC; Founding Partner, Chief of Medicine
Dr. Mueller is a board-certified emergency and critical care specialist and is in charge of medicine at our hospital. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her residency in emergency and critical care at the Animal Emergency Center in Wisconsin, a leader in the field of emergency and critical care medicine. Dr. Mueller's areas of interest include pain control and mechanical ventilation and she has practiced in the New England area for over 10 years.
Tricia Tovar, D.V.M. Dr. Tovar joined our team in 2010. She is a Texas A & M College of Veterinary Medicine graduate who practiced as an Emergency Veterinarian at a large facility in Irving, Texas, prior to joining our practice.
